We are committed to ensuring that Brazil Windpower promotes a positive impact on both people and the environment. Our vision is to transform our event into an increasingly sustainable and socially responsible model.
Our purpose is to play a central role in supporting the wind energy sector community, encouraging the improvement of its own sustainability. Through the connection between individuals and resources, we will provide the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively and sustainably tackle the major challenges of the future.
As part of our commitment, we are focused on three pillars of sustainability.
Better Stands Program: raising awareness among our exhibitors and builders to use reusable stands, thereby reducing waste generation;
Reduction of printed materials, ensuring they are FSC-certified;
Interactive map available through the app;
Use of LED lamps in the pavilion and Informa spaces, along with optimization of air conditioning usage to reduce energy consumption;
Selective collection and environmentally correct disposal of all waste generated at the event;
Use of carpet made from recycled PET, with 80% reused from previous events. Post-event waste is sent for recycling and transformed into new products;
Vegan and vegetarian food options available at the event's restaurants and snack bars;
Hiring People with Disabilities (PWD) in partnership with the PAE (Efficient Attendant Program).
Pink October, a campaign focused on breast cancer prevention and early diagnosis.
Motorized wheelchairs are provided to ensure accessibility at the event.
We support Safrater - Sociedade de Amparo Fraterno Casa do Caminho.
SUSTAINABILITY HIGHLIGHT
- Support for the Safrater project;
- Reuse of materials (80% of carpets reused);
- Hiring of PWD professionals to work at the event;
- Use of FSC-certified paper in printed materials;
- Reduction of PVC credential emissions;
- Selective collection of organic and recyclable materials;

- Donation of cooking oil used in the restaurant kitchen to NGOs.

AS A VISITOR
- Consider how you will arrive at the event using low-carbon transportation, such as public transport, electric cars, or carpooling;
Recycle your waste at the venue and your hotel whenever possible;
Consider choosing vegetarian and vegan food options and avoid food waste;
Take only the giveaways or brochures you need and will use; consider if there are digital alternatives;

AS AN EXHIBITOR
Ensure that your booth can be reused by your company or your contracted builder;
Think about the waste your booth will generate and try to minimize it as much as possible. Ensure that unavoidable waste is recycled;
Select LED lighting and other energy-efficient equipment for your booth, and make sure to turn off your equipment at the end of the day;
Optimize your trips by consolidating your shipments and choosing logistics companies with strong sustainability credentials;
Reduce paper distributions by going digital and purchase sustainably certified paper where printing is necessary;
Engage in the numerous initiatives and conversations throughout the event that aim to help facilitate and inspire the sustainable development of your sector;
Inspire the sustainable development of your sector by promoting your company and the sustainability credentials of your products and services.
